A refined and vibrant pair of Chinese Famille Rose porcelain plates, dating to the 18th century, Qianlong period (1736–1795). Each plate is finely hand-painted with a central floral composition featuring an elegant flowering branch with blue pomegranates and peonies, surrounded by a delicately painted border of blossoms and a geometric diaper pattern.
Measuring 23 cm in diameter, the plates exhibit the soft enamels and balanced composition typical of export porcelain from the Qing dynasty. The deep cobalt blue contrasts beautifully with the warm rose tones, greens, and iron red, highlighting the painterly quality of the decoration.
These plates are a fine example of the cross-cultural aesthetics of the 18th-century Chinese export market, where refined decoration met European demand for exotic porcelain.
